This document establishes the terms and conditions of Barrel brand products and services.

Pricing

All prices shown are recommended retail prices in Costa Rican colones and include VAT, without applying any discounts. Quotes are valid for a period of 30 calendar days unless otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to modify prices for reasons related to changes in exchange rates, raw material costs, etc. Promotions.

Promotions

Any published promotion is valid only during the stated validity period. Promotions will be published only through Barrel's official communication channels. Barrel reserves the right to terminate promotions before the effective date when it deems necessary. Any quote that includes a promotional product will be valid within the duration of the promotion.

Sale Order

A purchase order is approved when the customer notifies in writing that they accept the offer to purchase goods or services and agrees to the current terms and conditions of sale. Barrel may issue a quote for the supply of goods and services; however, this is not binding, and no claim is possible for failure to supply the goods in accordance with the quote or offer. An order may only be modified or canceled if expressly accepted by Barrel. Cancellations of orders for custom-made or personalized products are not accepted.

Payments

Barrel's standard terms require full payment of the order prior to shipment. For custom-made orders, a 50% deposit is required before production begins, with the balance due before shipment. If you pay for products with a credit card other than those approved, an additional fee may be charged, representing the transaction cost. Regular customers and distributors may request credit terms. Barrel reserves the right to grant, cancel, or change credit terms and limits at its sole discretion and may request full payment in advance for specific orders. For authorized distributors, a 60% deposit and payment of the balance is required for shipment of products. If you have an outstanding amount and it is not paid by the payment due date, Barrel may charge interest on the outstanding amount at the penalty rate, calculated monthly (prorated), with interest added to the outstanding amount on the first day of each month until the outstanding amount is paid in full. If you have an approved business account with Barrel and are in default according to the agreed terms, the money owed to Barrel becomes immediately due and payable. If you breach these terms, in addition to the amount owed, Barrel may claim all costs associated with collecting that amount, including legal and debt collection fees.

Changes and Cancellations

CAny changes to a purchase order are subject to Barrel's acceptance and may cause delays in cost and delivery time. Order cancellations are only accepted in writing and may incur a cancellation fee of up to 60% of the order value. Any deposit paid for a custom or personalized order will not be refunded. Cancellations are not accepted once the product has been shipped.

Custom Products

Any custom order is subject to Barrel's approval. Approval is not a guarantee of suitability, and Barrel is not responsible for its performance. All custom orders require a 50% down payment of the order value.

Invoicing

The invoice must be requested on the same day the purchase order is created or no later than the 25th of the current month. To request an invoice, the ID number and the minimum information required for the electronic invoice must be provided. The electronic invoice will be issued within a period of at least 48 hours and no later than the last day of the current fiscal month. For special terms related to VAT to apply, export documents must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the collection date.

Incoterms

Prices indicated are EXW, delivered ex works. If you require a quote with a different Incoterm or other terms, please contact your sales agent for a quote for the specific service. If delivery is delayed by the customer for more than 20 calendar days, Barrel may retain the products pending rescheduling of production. In this case, delivery dates will be adjusted according to the current terms.

Vehicle Compatibility

Please note that the information provided is based on compatibility testing with factory vehicles and products. After this time, changes may occur to your vehicle or products that may cause a product to not perform optimally. Vehicle model years are indicative, so please be careful when ordering accessories if your vehicle is approaching its model change date. If in doubt, please consult us to determine the correct product for your vehicle.

Any typographical errors or accidental omissions in the documentation or information will be subject to correction without liability.
